Belarasa Indonesia

FOR ADOPTIVE PARENTS

Building your family with love and guidance.

We walk alongside prospective adoptive parents through every step of Indonesia’s legal adoption process.

ADOPTION TYPES

CULTURAL (ADAT) ADOPTION

Adoption carried out through Balinese cultural ceremonies.

STATE LAW ADOPTION

Adoption through a regulated process – directly through Dinas Sosial (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), without an orphanage intermediary.

HOW WE SUPPORT YOU

Express your interest

Contact us through the website to submit your interest in becoming an approved adoptive parent. We will explain how Belarasa can help you navigate the legal process.

Readiness assessment

We assess readiness through documentation for Dinas Sosial, psychological testing at Pradnyagama or Sanglah Hospital, and interviews with our team.

Official application

Once ready, you submit your adoption interest through the official Dinas Sosial portal.
prestise.baliprov.go.id

Belarasa does not select adoptive parents. All adoption decisions are made exclusively under relevant adoption laws and Dinas Sosial guidance. Our role is to support you — not to direct your outcome. You will never need to pay for our services. Fees payable to third parties can be paid by the prospective adoptive parents directly to the third parties.

FAQs

What's the difference between Balinese cultural (adat) adoption and state law adoption?

Cultural (adat) adoption is carried out through Balinese customary ceremonies, and is finalized through the same court proceedings used for other types of legal adoption in Indonesia.

Psychological testing is conducted at credible healthcare institutions that provide this service, such as Pradnyagama or Sanglah Hospital, as part of the readiness assessment for prospective adoptive parents.

Yes, applications are still submitted through the official portal (prestise.baliprov.go.id). However, Belarasa can help you understand and navigate each step more easily, with the assistance of a social worker.

No, Belarasa will never charge you for our services. Any third-party fees that may apply — such as medical, psychological, or court fees — are paid directly by you to that party, not through Belarasa.
